Creative Direction, Content Management & Brand Alignment for ILA Studio
ILA’s Rebranding
For six months, I lived and breathed ILA. From Belgium’s time zone to LA’s late hours, the rebranding of Initials LA to ILA was an intense, all-consuming process. It was about more than just a name change—it was about staying true to the essence of who ILA is and where ILA is headed.
With Creative Direction in my hands, I worked closely with an incredible team: Leen Van Reussel, my work and mental support at the time, keeping everything on track, Merel Korteweg crafting the new beautiful visual identity, Stille Bliksem refining ILA’s verbal tone, and FunkHaus shaping the website and UX.
What started as a design project became a deep dive into identity, purpose, and vision.
And after countless calls, late-night edits, and creative breakthroughs, ILA emerged stronger than ever.
The branding is done, the website is live—but now the real work begins.
Content Management, migrating 10,000 images from the old site to the new, and reworking the portfolios of 30 talents to fit seamlessly within ILA’s fresh identity.
Beyond that, every single ILA output: Call Sheets, Email Signatures, Newsletters, Presentations, PPMs, Budgets, Invoices, Merch, etc. needed to align with the new branding. Templates upon templates, ensuring consistency across the board.
I love creating, but I thrive on organization and consistency. Because good branding isn’t just about a logo, it’s about making sure every touchpoint speaks the same language.
